well...either the "paper of record" is only covering the covid-19 outbreak on weekdays or someone is running way behind a deadline since their "newsletter' usually arrives between five and five-thirty p.m. central time and it has not materialized in my in box yet...so we will soldier on with half the data and, frankly, i probably could have skipped the whole thing ( and, no doubt, some are thinking " wish you had" ) because today's cdc update...

the n y times website does say there are now more than four hundred cases in the u s however their interest may be flagging as other fresher, trendier, less shopworn news intrudes...we'll see...clarity is not the watchword for this eveing...then again clarity has never really been the aim...selling a product has...at least for the "paper of record"...no real idea what the cdc is up to.
