woffle, wiffle, waffle

"time inured them to it all, and they ventured everywhere afterwards without hesitation." daniel defoe. a journal of the plague year
as the number of confirmed cases continues to rise...albeit arithmetically, not exponentially...
as well as the number of deaths...( again arithmetically...at least by what numbers there are )
trumpy struggles with the decision of whether or not to kill people by reopening a struggling economy...that there is considerable pressure to do this from the greed side of the equation is obvious..the ponzi scheme is struggling and needs to get the extractive pipeline up and running again asap...necessities are necessities butt he profit margins are razor thin...general merchandise ( read stuff that isn't particularly necessary ) is where the money is...al this nonsense about public health is hurting the cash flow and the doyens and doges of the corporate world want a "responsible government" to loosen up...
that people will die if civil government acquiesces to corporate governance is a given...even bloomberg admits it...this is the crux of the issue and one capital has never really cared about...according to labor department statistics fourteen people die each day from on the job injuries and another fifty to sixty thousand from job related illnesses each year...given the relative small sze when compared to death by other causes an easy statistic to lose sight of...still, there may be deeper reasons it is relatively unknown outside labor circles...profit is the goal...ceos and shareholder need to be paid...this does not sit well with some ( me included )..however there is obvious pressure building to sacrifice public health
back on 23 march the governor of my state told us we should stay home for two weeks unless we needed a pziza or some pepsi... on apirl third he extended that for another thirty days keeping us home until may fifth... three days later he shortened that sentence by fifteen days through another government fiat...there has been no further waffling on this as yet...when trumpy comes to a decision look for another executive order to emanate from the state capital to bring time frames into agreement...the corporate and civil governments are looking for consensus and i have distinct perceptions on who has more influence... meanwhile out on the fringe, cell tower are still going up like roman candles...this will annoy some segments of corporate governance..they will get their hired hands after the culprits...cell towers are not cheap...someone needs to pay...
and while the subject of payment is in the air, my institution tells me i can expect to see my $1200 sometime after the fifteenth of the month...beyond that there is no concrete information...the state is dragging its feet over stipends as well...understandable...a lot of people are struggling...i have been fortunate...just for the record i am mindful of that...however this isn't just about me..in terms of taking care of its true constituents civil government is showing its intent.
